Transfers
To ride Metrobus and Metrorail (or more than one bus) to reach your destination, you must buy a transfer ticket. Travel on Metromover is free for all, and no transfer is required. On boarding, give the transfer to the bus operator, or insert the bus-to-rail transfer in the Metrorail fare gate. A bus-to-bus transfer is valid for two hours on a one-way trip only. Use is limited to locations where routes meet or cross each other, or where routes link with the Metrorail system. Scroll down for details on how to transfer within our system or from our system to local jitneys, Broward County Transit, and Tri-Rail.

"BUZ" Pass
A BCT "Buz" Pass is a credit-card size fare card with magnetic swipe. The "Buz" Pass offers flexible pricing and is fully automated for use on all BCT buses. It is also simple to use; just insert the card's magnetic swipe facing the direction indicated on the fare box, slide it through from right to left and the fare box will beep when the "Buz" Pass is accepted.
